On May 2nd an aide [Lettie Medarose] in Washington said, "Presently there
are 19 co-sponsors for the bill and she doesn't think it will make it out of the subcommittee and in light of the big picture in that the Middle East is so very controversial Rosa is hesistant to support the resolution.
In July her office sent out form letters bemoaning the "tragedy" of Rachel
Corrie's death, but said not one word about the Rachel Corrie resolution. |
